Monthly Moments | February

Sunday 4 March 2018
Hi guys!
My February was one of adventures, study and family fun; so here's some snapshots of what I've been up to!

Adventures:
Right at the start of the month, my boyfriend and I went on a spontaneous trip to the beach and got Fish and Chips for dinner. We drove out to Palm Cove and managed to catch the most gorgeous sunset ever, as well as discovering a pretty awesome Fish and Chip shop too! It was a lovely relaxing evening and we really appreciated the chance to get away for a bit!

Reading:
I read 3 books this month, 2 of which were re-reads of the last two books in the Artemis Fowl series-I've started my year of reading by reliving the whole series over again and remembering just how much I love it! So far I've read 9 of my goal of 40 books for this year, so I'm pretty pleased with that!
This month I've also started a 'book of the week' feature on my Instagram Stories (check it out here!). So if you're looking for inspiration for what to read next (or just the prettiest book covers you need in your life!), that's the place to be!

Family Time:

I also got to spend a good lot of time with my parents this month, which was super lovely! I drove home for the weekend near the start of the month, and it was so lovely to just hang out with my fam and feel all loved and supported! We went for several nice walks together, ate yummy food and just generally relaxed, which just made for the perfect recharging weekend! I also had a lovely day out with my Mum last weekend where we got brunch at the new aquarium and went shopping together. I'm so grateful that I get to live fairly close to home and hang out with my family a lot more than I used to!

In between all the fun stuff, of course I had to do a bit of study! I recently published A Week In The Life of A Medical Student if you'd like to see what I get up to study-wise.

I hope you enjoyed a few little snaps of what I've been up to lately! What did you get up to in February?

  2. The picture of that sunset is beautiful. I love family orientated weekend. Family is everything. It’s always great to rest and be a bit lazy and have a break from day to day life. February I had mine and my dads birthday on 11th. Had lots of family fun for that, nice food. I got 2 brands to work with as well, which I am proud of. X
