Yay for blue, my favourite colour! Welcome to my second post in this colourful little makeup series, where I'm featuring my favourite makeup items in a different colour each week!
Fifty Shades of...Blue

I'm a complete stationery addict. There, I said it! There's nothing I like better than a cute notebook or some colourful pens to add to my already huge collection! I study full time at university and therefore spend a lot of time using all my study stuff.... which I like to think is an excuse for the rather large pile of new stationery sitting on my bed right now! I hope you enjoy this little haul combined with me showing you the study bits that I think are essential for succeeding at university!

Well ok, not quite 50…but that was my idea of a catchy title alright! This is the first of a new little series on my blog, where I feature my favourite makeup items in each colour.
Today’s post features all the most beautiful shades of pink that are currently residing in my makeup collection!

Ah, February. How are we half way through already? Wasn't it New Year just a few days ago??
For me, February is a month of new beginnings and excitement as I start my third year of university and move into a brand new apartment with two of my friends. Needless to say these exciting things come with a lot of work and organisation, which has left me in need of some good songs to keep me going! I thought I'd share with you some of the songs that have been getting me pumped up to power through life this month.

How's that for some alliteration in the title?! #whatanerd
So life seems to have been intent on teaching me some lessons in the last little while! Most of these have just popped up in every day life and I thought I would share with you some of my silly mistakes and lessons learnt so that you don't repeat my embarrassing moments...oh, the life of a 19 year old uni student!

GUYS. Somehow my 19th birthday has completely snuck up on me and I just cannot get my head around the fact that I've just entered my last 'teen' year! I feel so old and mature and yet still so young all rolled into one!
Seeing as I never did any kind of 'new years resolutions' sort of post, I thought I'd share with you my 19 dreams, some big and some small, for my 19th year on this earth (yes I'm trying to force myself into accepting the fact that I'm now 19 by writing it as many times as possible in this post, don't mind me!)
1. Make more time for friends. During the Uni semester I always end up pouring so much energy into study that I never find myself with any energy left to catch up with friends. I'm also a total introvert so it takes me a bit more effort to convince myself to make the effort to catch up with people-even my best friend! I've recently come to realise that the more energy I put into my friendships, the more I get out of them (duh, how did I not realise this before??), and although it takes a bit of a kick to get me out of the door to meet up with people, I always feel a million times happier afterwards! So here's to more time spent with the people who make my heart smile.
